    Description:
         
      Abstract: Anadromous salmonid smolt monitoring data (1985 to 2004) for Snake River Basin: Lower
      Monumental Dam, Little Goose Dam, Lower Granite Dam and Lewiston, Whitebird, Grande Ronde and
      Imnaha Traps.  Columbia River Basin: Bonneville Dam, John Day Dam, McNary Dam, Rock Island Dam. 

      Purpose: This dataset was created to provide timely smolt migration data to the fisheries agencies
      and tribes of the Columbia/Snake River Basin during fish migration season. The Fish Passage Center
      provides a weekly report during migration season which details the smolt monitoring data of the
      previous two weeks using this dataset.
 
      Supplemental_Information:
         
        Procedures_Used: These data were acquired directly from state and federal agency personnel sampling
        those sites. Data was transferred via electronic data file and added to SQL database at FPC.

      Progress: Complete from 1985 to 2003 for all sites listed under abstract, except  GRN which started
      in 1994.  PRD data available from 1985 to 1988.
